From the Gimblett Gravels, a premium wine growing district in the Hawkes Bay of New Zealand comes this Gold Medal winning 10 Year Old Tawny.
Fully matured in seasoned French Oak casks over many years in the cool cellars, this wine develops its port style tawny colour through gradual exposure to oxidation and evaporation. Complex mellow flavours are smooth and sweet with very delicate wood notes that compliment the rich aromas of mature fruit.
This wine is best served with dessert and will continue to develop in bottle for many years.

A Tawny Port made predominately with grapes grown in our Henderson Valley vineyard in Auckland, New Zealand.
This is our popular entry level Tawny Port, barrel aged for an average of 2 years in a mixture of small Scottish and French oak casks and native Totara oak to give the wine its smoothness and unique wood notes. We use the Solera process when blending our Tawny Port. Each bottle of port contains traces as far back as the mid 1960's meaning the wine was made across 3 generations of winemakers and a huge variety of grapes through this time, some of which are not commercially grown any longer.
