This new style Rosé Port has been thrown up and around the air in the winery for a while now and we thought we better get it done in time for 2019/2020 summer! So here we go.
Pinot Noir was selected for this wine and was fermented at cool temperatures with minimal skin contact to achieve subtle and delicate pink colour. The Rosé was lightly fortified to 16.5% with precise timing to maintain plum sweet and cherry like fruits with a fresh and fruity finish.
This Port is designed to be perfectly enjoyed during the hot summer days at the beach, picnic or party and with several serving suggestions such as on rocks/ice, chilled or in your favourite Rosé Port cocktail/sangria. This is a very versatile Rosé Port for all you mixologists out there so we excited to see what you can come up with.
