From the Gimblett Gravels, a premium wine growing district in the Hawkes Bay of New Zealand comes this 10 Year Old Tawny.
Fully matured in seasoned French Oak casks over many years in the cool cellars, this wine develops its port style tawny colour through gradual exposure to oxidation and evaporation. Complex mellow flavours are smooth and sweet with very delicate wood notes that compliment the rich aromas of mature fruit.
This wine is best served with dessert and will continue to develop in bottle for many years.
